Gut Renovation | Residential Interior Architecture & Design | Project Management.
Full gut renovation in Park Slope featuring custom millwork, interior architecture, and layered furnishings designed
to support family living and long-term growth.
This gem of a brownstone renovation began with a deep understanding of how the family lived day to day and how their needs would
evolve over time. Through thoughtful conversations, we uncovered their desire for a home that felt open, connected, and
welcoming—one that could seamlessly support daily routines, growing children, and meaningful time together. Their vision centered
around creating a space that not only functioned beautifully in the present but could adapt alongside their family.
The design process focused on reshaping the architecture to improve flow and function while integrating highly personalized design
solutions. Custom millwork became a defining element of the home, thoughtfully designed to support the rhythm of everyday life. This
included a dedicated homework area, tailored “his and her” home offices, a custom dining table designed for gathering, a fully
integrated primary bedroom headboard wall, and custom beds for the children. Each element was carefully considered to align with the
family’s lifestyle while enhancing the architectural integrity of the space.
The completed home feels warm, expressive, and effortlessly livable. Furnishings, window treatments, lighting, art, mirrors, textiles, and
layered accessories bring personality into every room while complementing the custom architectural details. The result is a home that
feels deeply personal, highly functional, and thoughtfully designed to grow with the family—welcoming them in each day with comfort,
balance, and ease.
A space designed to welcome you in, reflect who you are, and evolve beautifully as life unfolds.
