Mercedes House Phase 1, NYC

New Construction | Development Interior Design | Manage Design Installations Mercedes House is a luxury rental residential development located in Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood, distinguished by its striking glass and steel architecture designed by Enrique Norton. This project unfolded in two phases, beginning with the initial building and later expanding to include a second structure connected over time, with major development completed in 2012. The scale and visibility of the property required a thoughtful and consistent design approach that would align with the building’s modern architectural identity. Our involvement focused on the design and execution of multiple model apartments across both phases of the development. The goal was to create interiors that reflected a modern, sophisticated lifestyle while complementing the clean lines and contemporary materials of the architecture. Each unit was carefully planned to highlight the openness of the layouts, the natural light from expansive windows, and the seamless flow between living spaces—allowing prospective residents to easily envision themselves within the environment. The design process emphasized a refined, modern aesthetic with a sense of warmth and livability. Furnishings, lighting, and materials were selected to enhance the architectural framework without overpowering it, creating a balanced and inviting atmosphere. Each model apartment was tailored to appeal to a broad audience while maintaining a cohesive design language throughout the building. The completed spaces present a polished and aspirational lifestyle experience, reinforcing the building’s identity as a premier residential destination in Manhattan. The success of both Phase One and Phase Two reflects a clear alignment between architecture and interior design—resulting in environments that feel current, livable, and visually compelling. A space designed to reflect modern living—clean, connected, and effortlessly refined.
