Gut Renovation | Residential Interior Architecture & Design | Project Management
The project began in an unexpected and memorable way—a simple two-hour consultation the client won through a silent auction at a
fundraising event. What started as a brief meeting quickly evolved into a meaningful collaboration, grounded in a shared excitement for
the potential of her expansive loft space and a natural alignment in design sensibility.
The property itself was a unique combination of professional and personal environments, connected directly off the elevator bank. On
one side, the client operated her professional service offices, including a conference room, kitchen, and bathroom. Adjacent to this was
her loft-style residence—an open, light-filled space defined by high ceilings, large windows, and generous square footage. Initially
envisioned as a refresh, the project organically grew into a more comprehensive redesign. The scope expanded to include a fully
reimagined kitchen, laundry room, and a redefined hallway that led into a newly designed primary bedroom and bathroom. Each space
was thoughtfully detailed to reflect the client’s vibrant personality—creative, energetic, and full of life—resulting in a home that felt both
expressive and highly functional.
The completed space is dynamic, welcoming, and deeply personal. Furnishings, lighting, color, materials, and layered details bring
warmth and individuality to both the living and working environments, creating a seamless balance between the two. What began as a
small introduction developed into a lasting relationship, continuing through the sale of this apartment and the successful design of the
client’s next home.
A space designed to reflect personality, inspire daily living, and evolve alongside life’s next chapter.
