B Moore Design, Inc. is led by Barbara R. Moore, ASID, a licensed Interior Designer in the State of New York with over 30 years of experience in residential, commercial, healthcare, and corporate interiors. Founded in New York City in 2002, the firm is rooted in the belief that thoughtful design should enhance the way people live and work while creating spaces that are timeless, functional, and personal.
Barbara began her career in Pittsburgh at The Design Alliance and Perkins Eastman before transferring to the New York City office of Perkins Eastman. She later led the Interior Design Department at Janson Design Group, directing corporate and post-production studio projects. These experiences shaped her balanced approach to interiors—blending elegance, comfort, and functionality.
Every project begins with listening. By understanding each client’s lifestyle, vision, and goals, B Moore Design creates cohesive interiors that feel refined, livable, and enduring. From renovations and new construction to complete interior transformations, every detail is thoughtfully considered—from architecture and materials to lighting, furnishings, textiles, and art.
In 2006, Barbara completed a full renovation of her showroom and design studio on Brooklyn’s historic Antique Row, creating a destination that reflected the firm’s curated approach to interiors. Her work has also been featured through collaborations with NBC Universal Studios and in magazine and newspaper publications.
Barbara’s experience designing her own residences, office, and showroom provides a practical understanding of investment and long-term value, while her collaborative nature guides clients through each project with clarity and care.
In 2022, Barbara returned to her hometown of Pittsburgh, where she continues to serve clients locally and nationally.
